Aston Manor’s under 11s brushed aside Walmley to win the West Midlands Cup and bring home Manors’ first trophy for the season.  The young squirrels, having finished runners up in the league, outshone the home side courtesy of disciplined bowling, excellent fielding/wicket-keeping and batting of the highest calibre the supporters have ever seen.

The under 13s squirrels drew swords against Sutton Coldfield for the Under 13s West Midlands Cup at Rectory Park last Sunday morning. Manor lost the toss and Sutton chose to bowl in bowler-friendly conditions.
Manor were soon in trouble having lost Adam (0) to the 6th delivery of the innings. A small partnership formed between Khasad (9) and Waqas (18) [...]

Held at Walmley’s Douglas ground, elected-skipper Kaylam, won the toss and decided to put the opposition into bat. The Young squirrels capitalised on this and within 4 overs, Walmley’s score went down to 188 with Sahal and Kiran taking 3 quick wickets.
