Under 13s Lose To West Bromwich Dartmouth
Result: Lost
AMCC 102 for 8 Wkts in 20 Overs
WBD 103 for 3 Wkts in 17 overs
An excellent start to the WM League programme. Batting first on a cold evening at the Manor a good score of 102 for 8 was reached in the 20 overs.
Top scoring with 29 was skipper Adam Nevitt leading the way with all other batsmen chipping in, but not really going on to make a significant score.
The bowling was then mixed around with all 10 outfield players having a bowl including an excellent starting spell of leg spin from Reece in a spell of 3 – 1 – 14 – 1, supported by James 2 – 0 – 9 – 1 and then Rikesh with a wicket in his only over.
All other bowlers doing well, but the biggest issue being to many wides which ultimately brought the total down and allowed a reasonably easy win. But a good start, superb fielding on a cold night and excellent all round effort.
