Winning the toss on this wicket was an advantage. The 4ths consisting of 4 under 15s, some youth and a few members deemed senior in years, took to the field for the first time as a unit.

Geoff Knowles bowled like the veteran his is taking a five for only 9 runs in 6 overs.
He was ably supported by Usman Rana (2-24) and Mehmood Dawawala (2-14) to wrap up the Studley innings for 55 in just 15 overs.

Manor took to the task with the care and consideration the wicket demanded with Alex Rose scoring 17 in an opening partnership of 36. Although a superb Yorker accounted for Umar Mohammed, the skipper (15 no) was joined by Eaton Gordon (8 no) to finish it all in style with two glorious 4s for an 8 wicket victory;- all before tea and we only missed 5 minutes of the FA Cup Final.
