The Sunday 2nd XI took to the field against Burntwood with three farther and son combinations, the Roses, Phaguras and the Knowles. But with these exception still a very young side, and it was the kids that took the honours.

Burntwood bowled out for 129 in 29.4 overs by:- Trent 3 for 22, Kieron Carrol 2 for 18, and Brinder Phagura 2 for 19 plus 2 catches, and a wicket apiece for the Knowles combo. Also Junior Rose took 3 victims behind the stumps and Daddy Rose not to be out done, a run out with his rocket arm timed on the pavilion clock at just 2 minutes.

Then to finish it off the runs were knocked off by Trent 72 no and Brinder 38 no, giving us a win by 9 wickets in 29.3 overs and all 12 points.

A first victory and a fine all round performance from the new skipper Trent Turner.
